Talent Research Analyst

MANAGEMENT & REPORTING STRUCTURE:
The Talent Research Analyst reports to the Group Manager of Talent Acquisition.
POSITION PURPOSE:
The Talent Research Analyst (TRA) is responsible for the development and maintenance of marketing programs that optimize Talent Acquisition. The functions of this role include Market Research (85%), Quality Control (10%) and Budget Maintenance (5%). The expected outcomes for this role are: (1) name generation of ??passive? candidates, (2) development and maintenance of marketing paraphernalia that supports ??active? and internal candidate flow, (3) maintenance of metrics program in support of talent acquisition quality and budget standards.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Market Research (85%) -
Conducts primary and secondary research to develop passive candidate lists for Executive Recruiters: Job-board Internet recruiting, Boolean searches, networking, blogging, publication lists, databases (Zoominfo and SGA Tracker), referral sources and aggressive phone/cold calling. Sources active candidates using our hiring management tools (Ceridian Recruiting Solutions and Unicru). Works with Human Resource partners to identify internal candidate pools for Executive Recruiters: leverages career-pathing and succession tools. Gathers market place intelligence, analyses trends and makes recommendations for Talent Acquisition??s course of action. Conducts aggressive competitive intelligence and benchmarking of other organizations in support of Organizational Design and Effectiveness initiatives. Coordinates all projects related to maintenance of employment brand: advertising activities, niche publications, recruitment flyers, college recruitment and career fair opportunities, website maintenance, interview packets, etc.
Quality Control (10%)-
Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to assess the quality of recruitment products offered through the Talent Acquisition Department: focus groups, survey administration and ethnography. Collects, analyses and reports recruitment efficiency metrics that drive increased performance in the talent acquisition process: applicant flow ratios, interview/hire ratios, sourcing channel effectiveness, internal/external hire ratios, time-to-fill by position class, top-performer profit increase ratios, etc.
Budget Maintenance (5%)-
Processes recruitment related invoices, maintains budget and performs basic financial analyses to ensure optimal return-on-investment (ROI) for recruitment spend: Recruitment Efficiency Ratio.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor??s degree in business administration, marketing or equivalent relevant experience 3 years of recruiting experience in a corporate or recruitment agency environment (preference for at least 1 year marketing experience with a focus in branding, research, and/or communication). Demonstrated ability to collect data, build relationships and persuade through COLD calling. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. Strong time management skills. Ability to solve a variety of problems in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to compose moderately complex documentation of a routine nature (proficiency in Excel and PPoint required).
