Responsible for leading store merchandising projects within the Company (which includes, but is not limited to, store layout implementations, store space profitability analysis, impact analysis, and results review), while working closely with Purchasing (Specialty Marketing), Store Operations, New Store Opening, Facilities Planning, Design & Engineering, and Marketing.
Develops effective merchandising strategies and tactics to drive category performance towards established goals as well as the improvement of store space profitability.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating, planning, and managing store merchandising experiments and for developing innovative solutions that increase sales, profit, and/or market share. Applies experienced project management skills to ensure timely completion of complex marketing projects.

Responsible for gathering performance data from multiple data sources, analyzing demand patterns, correlating competitive data in order to create an objective analysis that impacts merchandise decisions related to marketing and selling self-service goods.

Within the guidelines of authorized Company policies, programs, procedures, budgets, laws, and good business ethics, coordinates and controls the activities, plans, and programs of the designated areas of responsibility.

Qualifications:
BA degree; 1-3 years work experience in retail, consumer package goods or consulting; ability to synthesize information into meaningful conclusions and tactical recommendations; problem solving skills; strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; project and time management skills; enthusiastic, highly motivated and driven to succeed; strong mentoring and teaching skills with experience in training environment; merchandising experience a plus.
