Hunterdon Medical Center, located in Flemington New Jersey is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician. This position requires instrument identification and the ability to operate sterilization equipment. Instrument tray assembly and knowledge of state and JCAHO regulations. The successful candidate will have the ability to handle high stress and high volume situations. The ability to prioritize a variety of tasks and work as part of a team. Strong communications skills in reading, writing and speaking English. The ability to wear and work with personal protective equipment.High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
National Certification and Advanced Specialized Technical Training required.
Minimum 1 year hospital acquired experience in sterile processing department required.
Certification from a nationally recognized certificate program in sterile processing. Hunterdon Medical Center will offer a sign-on bonus for the successful candidate with 2 or more years of directly related hospital experience and the National Certification. HJ ~CB~.
