Purpose: A growing Medical Device company in Woburn has an immediate need for a Sr Scientist in Polymer Chemistry.

Will be responsible for developing drug-device combination products for drug delivery systems. Will identify new polymer technologies for the development of new products. Will perform experiments for screening critical process control factors. Will also coordinate preclinical and safety testing.

A PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related science/engineering with 3-6 years of device and biotech industry experience is required. Candidates must have experience working with combination drug/medical device products. Knowledge of cross-linking chemistry, drug conjugation and chemical modification of polymers is required. Experience with drug delivery systems and formulation development is desired.
