Senior Research Administrator

Rhode Island Hospital (RIH) is a private, 719-bed, not-for-profit, acute care hospital and academic/research medical center. RIH is the state's largest general acute care hospital, a Level 1 trauma center and is affiliated with the Brown University School of Medicine. We are currently seeking an applicant for a full-time Senior Research Administrator. As an Senior Research Administrator on the Research Administration team, you'll develop, implement and ensure adherence to grants management policies and procedures related to grant applications, grant awards and clinical trial activities. You'll conduct training, lead special projects, coordinated post award activities. Completion of a Baccalaureate Degree in health care, biological sciences or related field and at least five years experience in the field of research administration is required. REQUIREMENTS
A Baccalaureate Degree in health care, biological sciences or related field. Must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Power Point. Comfortable in public speaking and training environments. EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of progressively more responsible experience in the field of research administration (grants and contracts, regulations, requirements), demonstrating knowledge of, and ability to interpret related requirements and regulations and to communicate effectively.
