Their main business is Quantitative studies with enriched diagnostics. Such research activities include: Concept Tests, Ad Tests, Mapping, Innovation, Tracking, and more.
They are currently looking for a President North America for their US headquarters in New York City.
Job Overview:
The President North America is a central role in the company, responsible for the US:
•Delivering the US annual gross margin target
•Managing the US account management teams
•Developing key client relationships
•Leading the US’s new business activity
Job Responsibilities:
•Develop and implement agreed marketing and sales strategies for the US
•Deliver on an agreed US annual target
•Win new clients/leads for the US account teams
•Ensure the US teams delivers high quality service and products to US clients
•Recruit and manage US staff
•Ensure compliance with company standards & processes
•Ensure adherence to US Market Research standards or regulations
•Report to the CEO on US performance, new business & client service issues
REQUIREMENTS
Key Skills:
•Customer Facing - Empathy, articulation, polish, listening, proposal writing & presentation, comfortable/credible with global top 100 type consumer facing companies, ad agencies and senior marketing & market research director/ managers
•Experience/Credibility – have worked in or with global top 100 type consumer facing companies
•Pragmatism – being able to apply that global top 100 experience to working successfully with large domestic companies
•Networking – with personal contacts / global top 100 type companies as well as large domestics (as above). The ideal candidate will already have a good network within the FMCG marketing, market research community
•Work Management – Good execution ability, process driven, meticulous, well organized, committed, ability to prioritize, self-reliant, results orientated with high degree of energy
•People Management – Good leadership and management skills, motivator, helpful, supportive, communicative, patient, decisive
•Research Knowledge – solid experience in consumer research / methods / competitors and client expectations
•Marketing Knowledge - solid experience in consumer marketing & business
•Entrepreneurial - An entrepreneurial streak is a pre-requisite for this opportunity. This means;

Work Experience:
•Must have significant experience of developing consumer market research for ad hoc research jobs. The experience could be gained through:
•Working as an account director for a market research company
•Working as a market research buyer in a Marketing or Market Research manager role
•Working as a marketing consultant or planning director developing market research briefs.
•Must have experience in a customer facing sales role working within a market research, marketing, or advertising agency.
Salary:
•Salary $150,000-$180,000 (depending on experience)
•+ 30% bonus for achieving the agreed annual gross margin target
•+ a further 20% bonus for significant over-performance (TBA)
•700 stock options, vesting over 3 years
•3 weeks holiday
