Responsible for planning, implementation and oversight of a variety of clinical trials, maintaining compliance with all applicable institutional, state and federal regulations in collaboration with investigator. Performs independently as a project manager to coordinate all aspects of clinical research projects including administrative functions and clinical functions per scope of practice. Other responsibilities include recruiting, retaining, motivating and educating research patients in clinical trials, training other research personnel in research procedures, managing research finances and tracking patient enrollment. REQUIREMENTS
Preferred Qualifications: Experience/Specialized Skills:
Four years of related experience in diabetes care or clinical research. Excellent communication skills. Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet and/or database programs. Excellent organizational, problem solving and negotiating skills. Knowledge of scientific design. Ability to work independently and to lead a team.Required Education/Course(s)/Training:
Registered Nurse; graduate of an accredited nursing program. Bachelor's Degree required.; CDE preferred, CCRC preferred, Bi-lingual preferredRequired Certification/Registration:Active license (Registered Nurse) State of California, Current BLS-C Provider
