Maintenance & Support Manager, Interactive Technologies
Houston, TXThe chosen candidate will be responsible for managing a mainteannce & support team. This individual will be responsbile for overseeing and assisting in the tasks of the team including accurately updating production data manually as needed; perform ming study installations, configurations and reviews; uploads of client data into the system; setup of new users; setup and configuration of system as needed; toubleshooting of issues and problems generates by the system ; maintain Core system, data and functions including all servers; in addition to various other maintenance tasks as assigned at all levels of complexity while minimizing the number of errors. The candidate must ensure that tasks are conducted in a timely manner in adherence with ICON SOPs and appropriate regulations and to liaise with other department and project managers as necessary to achieve this. In this role, the candidate will keep the department manager and project manager informed of status; liaise with clients on project related matters as needed and ensure all necessary training is provided to your staff to improve their job performance and knowledge; and develop and implement system wide standards to improve efficiency and promote consistent designs. The successful candidate must have the capacity to complete projects and other duties on time with no supervision and to serve as designee, when assigned, for other responsibilities for the department. The person in this role will also be responsible for developing working procedures, standard operating procedures, and training for the department; will be responsible for interviewing and hiring decisions regarding candidates in the programming group; and will be responsible for determining when new positions are needed.The qualified candidate will have a college degree or similar experience. The candidate must have experience managing a team of at least 2 or more. Required technical experience includes: SQL and T-SQL. The ideal candidate will have experience in 1 or more of the following languages: Delphi, Pascal, Visual Basic, C, C++, ASP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, and/or C#. The chosen individual must be capable to successfully balance multiple projects and timelines in addition to liaise successfully with other team members and clients. Extensive problem solving skills for tasks/functions related to his/her group are essential. Must be able to travel 10-15%. Required to be on call to support after hours ICOPhone issues as they arise.
