Group Manager, Interactive Technologies
Redwood City, CaliforniaThe individual chosen for this position will manage all staff under his/her jurisdiction. Ensure that projects are conducted in a timely manner in adherence with ICON SOPs and appropriate regulations and to liaise with other department managers as necessary to achieve this. Additionally, you will monitor project budgets and communicate issues to department management in a timely manner. In this role, you will monitor the quality specification within projects/departments and liaise with clients on project related matters. You will ensure all necessary training is provided to his/her staff; Maintain documentation of training as appropriate and keep senior management informed of project status in relation to both quality and timelines. You will liaise with other managers/directors to improve the effectiveness of the organization. Maintain confidentiality of management information as appropriate and participate in business development activities as appropriate. Lastly, additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.The qualified candidate must have a background in medicine, science or other relevant discipline and appropriate experience. Experience/background in the clinical trial industry and specific IVR experience is a must. The ability to coordinate all aspects of study management and to successfully manage project team(s) is a must. The selected individual must possess the ability to liaise successfully with clients. Foreign language skills are desirable. Current full driver’s license is required with the capability and willingness to travel at least 35% of the time (International and domestic: fly and drive).
