As a member of a team working on an individual assignment, leads projects or portions of projects and documents results for review by management. Under close supervision, performs technical assignments and develops innovative approaches for achieving specific objectives within the framework of a project. Provides technical advice to others within specialty. Contributes the preparation of technical proposals, amendments, reports, and terminations. Work is usually performed in a laboratory complexes or pilot plant utilizing equipment and scientific instrumentation. Work is reviewed for accuracy, completeness and soundness of technical judgment. 2-3 years of experience is preferred. Develop a close functional relationship with team to review projects, contribute information and suggestions.
Contribute guidance and suggestions that will improve delivery of functional product designs.
Participate in pilot plant testing
Actively contributes to adjustment and enhancement of the process and product.
Prepare recommended manufacturing procedures
Provide technical support for up operations in manufacturing.
Assist with installation of new processes.
Revise and troubleshoot the process.
Prepare specs and any control measures. B.S. in Food Science, Chemistry
3+ years of experience in Food Industry
M.S Food Science, Chemistry
0-2 years experience in Food Industry
