DoubleClick: Optimization Statistician

REQUIREMENTS
Skills:Knowledge of statistical methods (regression & classification methods, discrminant analysis, cluster analysis, anova, time series, sampling, inferences, etc.)Knowledge and experience with Optimization algorithms: Linear Programming, simulation, etc.
Familiarity with machine learning / statistical learning theory: supervised/unsupervised/reinforcement learning. Model building – model assessment and selection, bias vs. variance tradeoff.
Programming skills: competency in several of the following:perl, java, C/C++, SQL, R/S-plus, SAS, shell scripting, Excel Macros
Experience with UNIXExperience in working with a large, enterprise computing system.
Experience working with massive (10^9) datasets.
Ability to conduct independent research: concept formulation, definition of metrics, determination of appropriate methodology, performance evaluation, and final research report.
Ability to assess business environment for additional opportunities

Qualifications:Advanced degree in a statistical/quantitative field, required.
Five years experience in a statistical/quantitative field, required
Three years experience conducting original research, required
Three years experience working with external clients in a business environment, requiredAbility to travel up to twice a quarter, required
Knowledge of Digital Advertising desired.
