This position Director, Marketing Research for the Market Insights Group that supports Global Advertising Brand Management is located in the World Financial Center in New York City. In this role, you will be required to travel 25% of the time both domestically and internationally, based on business needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

Act as the voice of the customer and the marketplace to the Global Advertising, Brand and Sponsorship teams

Identify customer and market information needs and optimal quantitative and qualitative research approaches

Manage and oversee primary research projects which lead to actionable decision recommendations

Synthesize and integrate results with previous studies/competitive and marketplace information and communicate results to relevant management teams

Influence decision makers to act upon research results/recommendations to improve current customer satisfaction, attract new business, and contribute to positive business outcomes

Has responsibility for two manager level direct reports and one associate
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications Required:

Ten years market research experience with concentration of experience in a global advertising setting

Sound knowledge and experience of all optimal qualitative and quantitative research approaches

Extensive international experience and highly developed skills as it relates to cultural awareness and sensitivity

Previous advertising agency experience as a planner on international, multinational accounts

Fluent English. A second language is a plus

Bachelor’s Degree MA or MBA preferred
