Data Base Analyst, Reporting

We will be relocating to a downtown location at year end.POSITION SUMMARY: Currently, we have an excellent career opportunity available for an Accounting Data Base Analyst in the Client Operations Management Group for Aon Warranty Group. This position will initially be located in Glenview before relocating to downtown Chicago. This will be a technical liaison role between our third party administrators (TPA) and clients and the IT Department related to managing data received from our clients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Primary responsibilities include:

Resolve TPA / Client induced record layout changes; work with IT to update Universal Data Base (UDB)

Manage rejected records with the TPA / Client for resolution; Log and track issues;

Work with the TPA / Client to ensure data receipt on timely basis

Periodically review and implement system validations/edits (business rules) for relevancy and develop and enact enhancements

Work with operational units, clients, and others in the development, coordination, and distribution of reports

Develop and maintain written procedures for the processing of data, financial transactions, and issue resolution

Log and scan client contracts; maintain and update imaging management data base

Establish the protocols and programming to monitor loss activity for clients / programs with regard to stop loss coverage

Process premium invoice statements to clients; resolve issues; track and reconcile remittance of premium

Track funding of claims trust account for clients / programs not on a controlled disbursement mechanism
Job Requirements

2-3 years of related accounting and / or insurance experience

Thorough understanding of business systems enhancement and modification principles

Demonstrated high level skills in verbal and written communication

Strong interpersonal skills

Experience and demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects
