Chemists

MediVas is looking for Chemists to fill positions that have unique capabilities for the delivery of drugs and biologics through the use of new classes of biodegradable polymers. These polymers are especially suited to the controlled, sustained delivery of therapeutics from multiple forms, such as coatings, pellets or injectants, and for a wide range of diseases.
We are seeking several self-motivated Chemists, to join our expanding groups:
Monomer Development
Fabrication Group
Polymer Group
Qualified Chemist will need a strong chemistry foundation in order to perform hands-on bench chemistry.
The Monomer Group works with monomer and polymer synthesis, operating and maintaining reactors for the synthesis of several monomers and polymers. Responsibilities will include development, analysis, testing and evaluation of commercial-scale manufacturing.
The Fabrication Group will synthesize and characterize microspheres made from polymers by modern chemistry and analytical techniques. Chemists with knowledge of biochemistry, biology of diabetes, the influenza virus, and the HPV virus would be helpful.
Consideration will be given to candidates who have some experience in, or working knowledge of:
1) Lab and Scale-Up Environment.2) Molecule Synthesize.3) Fabrication4) Manufacturing Methods and Improvement5) Chemistry Techniques
Candidates will also be required to know how to report research results, and possess the ability to interact well with all levels, from Senior Management to Lab Operators.
