Biostatistician/Analyst/Programmer-Great Company!

Downtown Company looking for a Biostatistician to add to their staff. This candidate's responsibilities will include the planning,analysis, review, and interpretation of clinical data sets from research projects from research projects and protocols conducted both within and outside the company. Must be able to work independently with project teams, researchers, and/or contractors, as appropriate, to plan clinical research projects and to develop statistical sections of protocols and Statistical Analysis Plans. You will participate in meetings, teleconferences and prepare written responses as needed. Mentoring/reviewing work performed by junior staff, providing statistical expertise to assist clinical project teams and project management, and overseeing of data/statistical tasks are all responsibilities of this position. You will be expected to keep current with evolving industry standards for clinical research, participate in review/development of quality systems and processes, provide assistance to uality Assurance to verify statistical programs, analytic results, and data sets used in analysis. The ideal candidate will play a key role in writing/reviewing of statistical sections of technical documents and clinical study reports, and preparing data and research materials for submission to federal funding sources. As needed, program statistical analysis for in-house data requests.
REQUIREMENTS
PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics or related or Master's with extensive experience. You must have "hands on" experience in a lead role, actively involved in studies, published works. The Biostatistician will be experienced in the structure and manipulation of clinical databases, knowledge of industry standards for data management procedures used to collect, compile, and to present clinical data. Some SAS programming is required and could include preparation of data distributions, listings and analysis.
