Associate Registrar for Reporting and Institutional Research

Chartered in 1746, and known as the College of New Jersey until 1896, it was British North America's fourth college.Position Summary: Reporting to the Registrar, this position has overall responsibility for developing and maintaining a reporting environment that responds to University needs for data on student enrollments and academic progress. Reporting requirements include, but are not limited to, reporting of enrollment and academic data to internal and external University constituents; federal IPEDS reporting, serving as the University's IPEDS keyholder; COFHE reporting and all other governmental and related reports; annual statistical report to the President; major surveys including, for examples, Open Doors, EWC engineering survey, and Common Data Set. Responsible for other processes critical to the operation of the Office of the Registrar. This position manages the SCORE (Student Course On-Line Registration Engine) directs the CIS (Course Information System) and Degree Audit components of the Student Administration system, and supervises administrative and technical staff in the IR section of the department.Job Function: Systems ProfessionalGrade: AIT 040Standard Hours: 36.25Eligible for Overtime: NoJob Requirements

Sophisticated interpersonal/organizational/consultative skills * Experience using and building sophisticated reporting tools to test and monitor system functions * Successful experience analyzing needs for data and designing solutions for delivery * Experience building reports to distribute to the user community * Experience participating in the management of technology projects * Ability to participate in the leadership of the departmentEducation Required: Bachelor's Degree
