We have opportunities for full-time Staff Appraisers. Our Staff Appraisers:Report directly to a District Appraisal Manager.
Consistently demonstrate the ability to evaluate risk and determine property value in accordance with World?s Appraisal guidelines.
Are self-motivated, articulate, and organized individuals who consistently maintain quality and meet production targets.
Receive ongoing training and tuition assistance.


Job Duties
Inspect properties.
Research market trends and indicators.
Make and confirm appointments with clients.
Establish and maintain positive, long-lasting relationships with our in-house customers and our Loan clients.
Complete appraisals, including evaluation of risk and providing a value in accordance with World?s Appraisal guidelines, with limited direction.
Maintain necessary logs of Appraisal requests and completions.
Perform review appraisals on Appraisal reports completed by Associate Appraisers.
Provide one-on-one training to the Associate Appraisers, assisting our other Appraisal Departments as well as conferring with World?s Loan Origination and Underwriting Departments on property issues.
Assume a leadership role in improving quality and customer service and may assume authority in District Appraisal Manager?s absence.
Assist District Appraisal Manager with administrative duties.


Job Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
At least 5 years as a World Staff Appraiser, or 5-7 years of Appraisal experience.
State-issued Appraisal license in good standing.
Valid State driver?s license.
Flexibility and proven ability to adapt and respond appropriately to an evolving workday, especially to accommodate clients.
Exemplary interpersonal and customer-service skills as well as strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Good planning, prioritization, and time-management skills to meet aggressive production goals.
Computer skills including working knowledge of Windows, Lotus Notes, ACI, and Apex.
