We offer a broad range of mortgage products designed to meet the needs of all borrowers.Report Analyst IIJob Description:Design and develop critical and highly accurate marketing reports and utilities to enable rapid and well-informed management decisions. This individual will be part of a dynamic marketing team responsible for generating leads for a nationwide sales force.Requires MS SQL, VB/.NET, and MS Access experience, minimum 2 years experience in software development, good interpersonal and communications skills, BA/BS degree in Computer Science (or related discipline), or equivalent experience.This position reports to the Manager of Reporting and Lead Management.Responsibilities:Create and modify sales/marketing reports using MS Access, Actuate, Proclarity, and Business Objects; marketing utilities and data exports using MS Access, MS SQL, and VB/.NET; Includes design, development, QA, and documentation.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with production reports, marketing utilities, and data exports.
Interface with users to define system requirements and/or identify necessary modifications.
Participate in the development project planning process. Provide realistic work estimates and effectively communicate changes to management and team leader.
Develop code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications including unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. Maintain software written by himself/herself and others.
Continually improve the useablility, maintainability, and extensibility of the in-house reports and utilities. Including participating in code reviews to ensure that code is documented and complies with established company coding practices.
Follow version control policies.
Provide input for or write documentation for new or existing software, including software installation and maintenance procedures.
Contribute to the overall effectiveness of the organization in a variety of ways, such as encouraging cooperation and open communications, and improving processes and tools.
Maintain technology expertise, keeping current with evolving Internet, client/server, development, and database technologies. Remain abreast of current product innovations and technology.

Education
A BA/BS degree in Computer Science (or related discipline), or equivalent experience.Work Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in software development environment.Technical Skills
Conversant and knowledgeable in contemporary technologies. Knowledgeable of Microsoft technologies.
Experience in object oriented design and implementation methods, programming languages and tools. Experience with user-interface design and development. Comprehensive understanding of VB/.NET, MS SQL and MS Access.
Good understanding of relational databases.
Working knowledge of the Internet and client/server networking.Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Broad technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation. Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
Excellent product level analytical and design skills.
Ability to pay close attention to details.
