Regional, Real Estate Manger

Our Client has quickly become one of the largest service and manufacturing companies in North America. They have over 730 locations, and over 13,000 employees.

Manage landlord and sublet relationships, first point of contact for lease or facility issues, manage lease renewals and extensions, assist in obtaining landlord consents and negotiate leases and property purchases.
Implementation of market development plans for assigned markets and MSA’s, execute the disposition of surplus, underutilized and vacant property and prepare analyses and make recommendations for facility replacement and upgrade requests.
Working cross functionally with regional and district managers to implement a real estate strategy consistent with the goals of URI and including execution of portfolio, ownership, location, and exit strategy.
Acting partner with Regional Manager, Design & Construction in the development of capital project scope, initiation and coordination to completion and assemble all components and present to management (specs, budget, layout plan, etc.).
Liaison to corporate departments (legal, environmental, construction) regarding property management, coordinate due diligence process and preparation of all legal documents, zoning, usage, suitability and environmental.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business management or real estate field required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5-7 years within commercial or corporate real estate services, Industrial real estate preferred.Demonstrated experience managing the delivery of real estate for a non-office based multi-site company in an industrial/commercial environment. Proven track record managing the negotiation for and disposition of a substantial regional portfolio. Preparation of rent model analysis for a substantial regional portfolio.
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Map Point)Real Estate Management software knowledge preferred (Strategen, Sequentia, etc.). Strong understanding of complex real estate, legal, financial accounting, and business concepts, and the ability to apply this in dealing with all levels of internal and external business managers and the real estate community. 80% travel required throughout the region.
