Eagle Realty Group, a member of Western & Southern Financial Group is a full service real estate investment, and property management firm based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
We are currently in search of a Director of Real Estate Services who will direct efforts for site selections, lease negotiations, real estate acquisitions, construction, refurbishments and renovation of all locations occupied by Western & Southern Financial Group (WSFG).
Position Responsibilities
•Responsible for the site selection, lease negotiation, construction, refurbishment, and renovation of all locations occupied by or to be occupied by WSFG.
•Maintains the necessary programs for the leasing, administration and maintenance of space occupied by WSFG in over 190 locations throughout the U.S.
•Recruits, hires, trains and develops staff. Provides direction to and development of associates through daily coaching, the administration of the Performance Management Program and the creation and implementation of development plans.
•Evaluates the furniture and construction plans for all field office locations (180 ±), checks for and makes recommendations for improvements.
•Evaluates contractors, construction materials and supplies. Makes recommendations for solving space and operational problems.
•Reviews leases and contracts for various services and makes recommendations and decisions based on sound judgment.
•Assures that all jobs relating to repairs, construction and operations are performed in a safe and workmanship like manner.
•Works with other business units, departments and associates within WSFG to reach common business goals.
•Performs or directs physical inspections of field office locations are completed on a scheduled basis and remedial actions are taken as appropriate.
•Develops and administers programs to assure compliance with government regulations as they apply to areas of responsibilities.
•Prepares an annual operating budget for assigned properties and operations and submits to management for approval.
•Assures that all operating expenses for assigned properties are kept in line with approved budget.
REQUIREMENTS
Selection Criteria
•Experience and ability in negotiation and in overseeing of purchase, sale, lease and other agreements customarily utilized by corporate real estate departments.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Proven leadership capabilities.
•Resourceful, collaborative, detailed and results driven.
•Significant experience and knowledge with all types of building systems.
•Financial planning, budgeting and expense control experience.
•Ability to read architectural and mechanical blue prints.
•Ability to remain calm in an emergency and use sound judgment.
•Ability to recognize problems as they relate to buildings or personnel and take corrective action before they become serious.
•Adaptable to changing situations and responsibilities.
•A valid Associate real estate license or ability to obtain same within three months.
•Willingness to travel to meet company responsibilities.
