Maintenance Superintendent

We are currently seeking Maintenance Superintendent for a 308 unit high-rise family site located in Albany N.Y. The property will have major capital improvements to the site infrastructure and apartments. Superintendent will supervise day to day maintenance and janitorial duties of the property. The superintendent will conduct site and unit inspections, supervise and coordinate contractors/vendors, execute a preventive maintenance program, purchase materials and supervise capital projects. The position supervises a staff of two Maintenance Techs. and two Porters. Occasional hands on maintenance may be required. Qualifications: must have knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and janitorial. Must be service oriented and possess good written and verbal communication skills. Position requires an organized self-starter, able to handle multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy in a busy family site environment. Live on site and on call may be required.
