Franchise Development Manager

This job is designed to support franchisees in the Caribbean and Central America region in meeting development targets in connection with opening of new restaurants as well as renovations by providing market planning, site selection (real estate) and project management direction.

The scope of the Franchise Development Manager position focuses primarily on the Central America and Caribbean region.

This position will be based in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

40%+ travel

Major job functions include:
a)Responsible for attaining planned site approvals and openings. This includes utilizing project management processes to develop and maintain a pipeline of projects, track progress against milestones and periodically communicate results.
b)Work with franchisees to develop market plans and then ensure that ongoing development is aligned with these plans.
c)As needed, provide franchisees with training (i.e. market planning, site selection, trade zone analysis, construction budgeting and value engineering).
d)Provide planning analysis to support the growth goals of the region and provide the foundation for structuring development agreements.
e)Monitor and ensure compliance of franchise development agreements.
f)Support CaribLA team as needed in planning, business reviews and other projects.
g)Work with CaribLA Development team to identify and share regional and global practices to share with franchisees.
REQUIREMENTS
MBA graduate. Degree in Finance, Business, Real Estate or Engineering

5+ years experience in development/ retail

Fluent in English and Spanish (including writing)

Strong leadership, interpersonal and administrative skills

Regional (Central America/ Caribbean) business and cultural experience

Real Estate work experience in the region preferable
