Development Financial Manager

A Development Financial Manager shall be assigned to each project early in the pre-development process. Reporting to the Director of Development Finance, the Development Financial Manager will be the main finance department resource for the project team. The Development Financial Manager is responsible for overseeing the production of all project feasibilities from project inception through Board approval. During the feasibility process, the Development Financial Manager will ensure that all assumptions used in developing income and cost estimates are valid and in agreement with current standard guidelines. Working through the Development Executive, the Development Financial Manager will also gather information from project team members to support each line item in the feasibility.
The Development Financial Manager will participate in the Development/Construction review meeting of the construction design and development cost reports, review the monthly indirect and leasing reports, and ensure that all forecast assumptions are valid and in agreement with current guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Work Experience - 6+ years in real estate development, construction accounting or related field
Education - 4 year college degree with emphasis in Accounting or Finance. MBA a plus.
Proficient in use of Excel and maintenance of spreadsheets
Ability to meet multiple reporting deadlines in a fast paced, growth environment
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
