Reports to: Technician SupervisorResponsibilities to Include:
Comfortably manages and completes routine and moderately technical work assignments.
Possesses and demonstrates skills to develop solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope.
Possesses and demonstrates a limited use and/or application of engineering theories and concepts.
Follows the leadership /direction of test supervisor or test engineer; Occasionally leads elements of the test.
Follows the leadership/direction of supervisor or lead engineer.
Contributes to the completion of routine technical tasks. Errors in work can usually be corrected without a serious effect to schedule or program.A Textron Company
REQUIREMENTS
Associate in Science Degree preferred; Mechanical or Electrical (preferred).Position Requirements:
Reads and understand DFMEAs for Components and Assemblies.
Familiar with the correct operation of specialized test instrumentation.
Understands and Applies Problem Solving Techniques (ex. Shanin, Taguchi, etc…).
Reads and understands DVP&Rs for Product Validation.
Working Knowledge of and Application of Computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, Project, etc.).
Understanding of Test Methods Appropriate for Compliance Test (ANSI, SAE, CE Certification, etc…).
Familiar with Textron NP&SI Process on “A & B” Class Projects.
Understands and Applies Good Safety Habits Regarding Moving Equipment, Electrical Power, and Hazardous Materials (Fuel, Solvents, etc…).
Understands and Applies the proper use of appropriate hand tools and power tools.License and Certification Requirements:
