We currently have an opportunity for a Staff Quality Assurance Inspector to join us.
As Senior Quality Assurance Inspector, you will perform incoming and or online inspections according to ArthroCare's internal policies and procedures. Perform parts inspection on complex components and products, in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy. Perform first article inspection. Manage quarantine inventory. Organize and process MRB. Identify the need for and design of gauge/tools. Provide independent timely test support. Record and analyze data accurately. Initiate Non-Conformance reports to prescribed procedures. Coordinate the resolution of non-conforming reports. Interface with other departments to get timely resolution of discrepancies. Effectively support and follow policies and procedures. Monitor department efficiency by creating and maintaining timely and accurate monthly reports. Perform training to effectively improve the knowledge and consistency in inspectors.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a High School diploma; 2-year degree or some college is preferred. Must have at least 5 years' inspection experience in medical device and 10 years total in quality assurance. Requires a high level of computer proficiency, and CMI/ASQC certification.
