Develops, maintains, and upgrades hardware and software necessary to test analog and mixed signal products. The development effort involves working in a team environment to create a complete test list for a new product, drawing schematics (Micrel uses PADS PCB schematic capture and layout software) to interface the new product to the automatic tester (Micrel uses: Eagle ETS200/500/364, Credence/TMT, ASL1000/3000) and then writing the test program (C++) to guarantee the complete data sheet on the new product. Familiarity with test equipment (probers, handlers, and testers) is desired.Candidates must have at least 4 years of test engineering experience on analog and/or mixed signal devices (products include: LDOs, switching regulators, power management devices, etc.).Micrel is always looking for extraordinary people who strive for excellence.
