Due to our tremendous success we are in need of a Software Engineer to lead the quality assurance program for our online services group.

Your Opportunity
This Software Quality Engineer will be responsible for leading the quality assurance program for online services group. This position requires a solid understanding of QA/QC methodology and experience in designing and implementing black box and white box, manual and automated tests for software products. SQE will ensure that all deliverables are tested according to quality standards guidelines and will ensure that all code and documentation is delivered as per specifications. SQE will create and/or review quality assurance plans, test cases, test matrices, and other QA documents to ensure sufficient test coverage based on requirements and specifications. SQE will also act as liaison with other QA/QC groups within the product development organization.

Other duties will include:
• Scheduling and allocation of all testing activities;
• Effectively participates in, and sometimes leads, cross-functional testing activities;
• Serves to mentor QA engineers to provide effective support for growing their capabilities;
• Participates in root cause analysis for defects and provides process improvement suggestions to eliminate future occurrences of similar defects;
• Participates in inspection process for all types of project deliverables, including code;
• Quickly and effectively assesses the true customer impact for customer reported problems and works closely with cross-functional product development teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant QA/QC experience working in the consumer or small business software development industry.
• Requires BS in Computer Science (or related degree) or higher, strong software engineering skills, solid understanding of object oriented design, knowledge of C++ or similar object oriented programming language, XML, and scripting language(s), and exposure to multiple Windows operating systems and file and registry structures.
• Experience implementing automated API QA/QC testing suites/automation tools for online products and services.
• Experience developing detailed test plans in coordination with Product Development to insure the product is at the desired level of quality.
• Must have a solid understanding and track record of applying industry leading QA/QC methodology.
Experience with consumer & small business software products that include extensive online capabilities.
Solid demonstrated QA/QC experience that cover all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
Solid grasp of industry standards aimed at validating & testing software component(s).
