Six Sigma* Master Black Belt

Intel's Information Services and Technology Group (ISTG) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. ISTG is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

In this position, you will assume the role of subject matter expert, chief advocate, communicator, trainer and mentor for Intel's Lean Six Sigma methodologies with the purpose of infusing a business process improvement (BPI) mindset in the company's core culture. You will be mentoring and executing business process improvement and reengineering projects that will result in productivity and bottom line savings. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Implementing the enterprise-wide BPI program through the use of DMAIC, DMADV, and LEAN Methodologies
- Proactively facilitating meetings with Senior Leadership Teams and Champions to identify key BPI projects with their respective Return on Investment (ROI), building a robust pipeline of projects, ensuring the proper prioritizing, funding and resourcing of high-impact BPI projects
- Training and mentoring Black Belts and Green Belts, helping educate others in the organization about BPI, and fostering the use of BPI tools
- Leading project identification and chartering workshops and providing input into the project prioritization matrix through focus groups and workshops
- Driving business results via the team's completion of the target number of high impact projects by removing organizational and resource barriers, assigning project risk, and ensuring accountability of project Champions to sustain improvements



job Requirements


You should possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree with more than five years' related experience (an M.B.A. is preferred). You should have a Six Sigma Master Black belt obtained from a reputable institution and have more than three years of experience as a Master Black Belt. Additional qualifications include:
- Proven technical mastery of Six Sigma skills (DMAIC* and DMADV*/DFSS*) and in-depth knowledge of statistical tools including Minitab* and JMP* as well as experience in LEAN*
- Extensive experience in Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies application to both manufacturing and non-manufacturing environments
- Proven team leader and excellent written and verbal communicator
- Ability to quickly gain credibility and trust at all levels in the organization including the ability to influence senior leadership
- Deep-rooted interest in developing the skills of others and the capability of the overall organization
- Ability to consistently perform at a high level in a global environment
- Demonstrated coaching skills and previous experience training and certifying Black Belts and Green Belts
- Strong orientation towards and use of proven methodologies to improve the productivity and effectiveness of organizations
