Quality Systems Specialist

OneLegacy, a donate life organization, has an immediate opening for a Quality Systems Specialist in the Los Angeles Corporate Office. Position Summary: Maintains quality systems within the Organ Department to ensure organizational structure, procedures, processes and resources needed to implement quality management. Reviews organ donor files to ensure that the proper paperwork has been filled out and completed correctly according to policies and procedures. Documents any discrepancies with the file and obtains corrections. Assists with regulatory agency inspections and audits. Responsible for the OneLegacy Organ Policy and Procedures Manual, Forms, Documents, CAPA, Change Control, Document Control, and is responsible for the review of regulations and standards to ensure regulatory compliance. Performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with policies and procedures, and regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations and other applicable federal, state and local laws.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (BS) from an accredited four-year college or university preferred. Five years experience in a donation organization with quality systems background. Project management preferred. Full-Time Position with On-Call Responsibility Must be available evenings, weekends and holidays, as required. Must have a current state driver’s license and auto insurance based on state minimal insurance coverage standards. Reliable automotive transportation required.
