Quality Control Specialist, Special Loan ServicingIn this role, the successful candidate will be relied on to perform quality control audits for technicians, analyze unit-related processes, and monitor/evaluate performance standards. Key functions will also include training staff, drafting operating procedures, analyzing and processing complex transactions, and assisting with system enhancements. The position may also be responsible for a unit of work and may be called upon to fill in for employees who are absent or to provide support during backlog or peak times. Other duties will include performing simple query processes associated with unit activities.Requirements:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent.

AA degree.

4 years experience in mortgage banking or related field.

1-2 years experience in training peers, providing customer service or performing other related duties.

Ability to assist in setting goals and meet highly critical time-oriented deadlines.

Strong analytical and multitasking skills.

Good mathematical, organizational, and follow-up skills.

Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.

PC proficiency (Word, Excel, AS/400, Lotus Notes) with minimum typing speed of 35 wpm and ability to use 10 key by touch.

Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
