Jensen Precast is a manufacturer of precast concrete products for the highway, utility, water & wastewater industries. Jensen Precast is currently seeking an EXPERIENCED QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER.

Quality Control Manager ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Initiate and review evaluation and disposition reports, product form inspection reports, pre-pour /post-pour inspection reports and scrap reports to ensure that product is being manufactured at the highest quality levels and processes are followed accordingly.
Interact with production foreman, supervisors, and managers to have deficiencies in craftsmanship corrected before producing products.
Sample concrete for slump, air, temperature, and unit weight daily. Record test results on lab test sheet and concrete testing sheet. Make recommendations for better quality of product.
Responsible for ensuring that identification tags are created for daily pre-pours and are followed as outlined.
Checks rebar cages for proper placement based on specifications and engineering drawnings. Checks blockouts, inserts, knockouts, pulling irons, ground rod holes and any other addition required after set-up and prior to pour.
Responsible for final inspection after post-pour and record findings on inspection sheet.
Notify Production Manager or Plant Manager of any non-complying issues that are discovered during the inspection and devise a plan to correct such issues.

REQUIREMENTS
MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have 3-5 years experience working in a construction / manufacturing work environment and be familiar with ACI, ASTM, and NPCA manuals and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, rebar prints, and job specifications with a high level of accuracy. Must have an NPCA certification.

NON-MANDATORY JOB REQUIREMENTS:
ACI Strength Testing Technician experience – Grade 1 and ACI Field Testing Technician experience – Grade 1.
Bi-lingual in English & Spanish a plus
