Quality Control Inspector

Job Title: QC Inspector

SUMMARY
Inspect incoming parts and document the results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•Inspect all incoming fabricated parts using basic mechanical measurement techniques.
•Inspect all incoming electronic assemblies for correct components and soldering/crimping.
•In-line inspection of electro/mechanical assemblies.
•Final inspection of finished products.
•Document inspection results.
•Prepare and maintain inspection reports.
•Generate inspection procedures.
•Manage equipment calibration program.
•Follow all Health and Safety guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS

Familiar with the use of mechanical measurement equipment. Able to read and understand assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and bills of materials. Positive attitude and willingness to work in a team environment.
Familiar with Windows, Word, & Excel.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associate’s degree from a technical institute.
Minimum 2-4 year inspection experience.
Additional experience may be substituted for educational requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work is to be performed at the company’s headquarters located in Plantation, Florida.
