Quality Assurance Associate II

The Center for Biomedicine and Genetics is currently seeking an individual with analytical skills to fill an opening in the Quality Control group.

This individual will work as a team to develop and perform analytical tests to support the release of clinical grade biological products, including viral vectors, plasmid DNA, recombinant proteins, and genetically modified cells.

Desirable laboratory and analytical skills include mammalian tissue culture, Q-PCR, infectious viral titer assay, FACS, and standard molecular biology methods, (e.g. electrophoresis, nucleic acid extraction, restriction enzyme digestion, molecular cloning, etc.).

Requirements
B.S. degree in life science or biochemistry, and at least 3 years working experience, or a M.S. degree is required.

Experience in working in a GLP/GMP environment would be advantageous. Good computer skills and the ability to multi-task in the laboratory setting are required.

Requirements
