Quality Control Associate

Purpose: Our client, a leading Medical Device company is a rapidly growing medical device company engaged in the research, development and manufacture of novel health monitoring technologies, is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist.



General Functions:
Responsible for conducting routine and non-routine analysis of raw materials, in progress and finished formulations according to standard operating procedures. Compiles data for documentation of test procedures and prepares reports. Calibrates and maintains lab equipment. Reviews data obtained for compliance to specifications and reports abnormalities. Revises and updates standard operating procedures as needed. Supports product development as needed. Applies knowledge of good manufacturing practices and good laboratory practices on a daily basis

Responsibilities:

Coordination and performance of a variety of QC dimensional inspections of incoming and in process plastic components to support validation, development and manufacturing efforts.
Analytical testing of incoming and in-process chemistries. Development of specifications for final release criteria for tested chemistries.
Development of Quality Procedures to ensure testing is performed in accordance with cGMP regulations.
Assist Process Engineering and Development teams with special studies and testing in support of validations and product transfer.
Maintenance of laboratory instruments according to cGMP requirements.
Follow and adhere to SOP?s and document all work in accordance with cGMP.
Demonstrate attention to detail through accuracy in documentation of data and reports.
Evaluation and review of test data for conformance to specifications
