Quality Control Analyst
COMPANY: Large global manufacturer and distributor of consumer electronics, commercial equipment, multimedia and telecommunications products.
LOCATION: Southern California
COMPENSATION: $50 - $60K
DESCRIPTION: Prepare information and reports to be used for taking Quality/Reverse Logistics action and making Quality/Reverse Logistics decisions. Define, prepare, and present standard Quality reports for PCS (Personal Communication System) products and Reverse Logistics reports for Company’s Service Providers, and present reports for measuring operational and business efficiency of WCD (Wireless Communication Division). Receive returns and repair data for PCS products in the field. Conduct investigations and implement processes to identify and utilize data sources for measuring Product Quality, Reverse Logistics, and Business/Operational performance. Implement automated software tools for deriving, sorting, and presenting data.
REQUIREMENTS
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Math or Science, with 1 to 2 years analyst experience. Experience investigating product quality and reverse logistics performance. Thorough knowledge and practical application of MS Excel, associated with Macros, data plotting and charting, and other analysis techniques; experience with databases and SQL.
