Computer Resource Team is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for a contract to hire opportunity near Charlottesville, VA



Responsibilities:

Overall management of all QA personnel located at our client's development offices
Implement global processes that result in improved quality throughout the entire application development lifecycle and client projects
Support of production/shipment schedules of client products
Provide leadership in implementing services within the QA organization that include black-box testing, white-box testing, load and performance testing, and other services that can contribute substantially to the overall quality of the applications that delivers to its customers
Support the professional services organization to ensure successful customer implementations
Work closely with peers to continually improve the quality & usability of components
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

Extensive experience in software development and technical understanding of enterprise software applications
Strong track record in QA process implementation and optimization in multi-site environments that involve Agile Development methodologies
Ability to manage teams of multiple-sizes and to handle multiple projects
A proven track record of delivering world-class, large-scale, high-load, performance critical multi-million dollar software products of high quality to external clients
Strong knowledge in Java and J2EE, XML, HTML-based web technologies and relational database products skills
High level of initiative and also the ability to provides hands-on testing and guidance to QA teams
Detailed oriented person
Strong understanding of SCM processes. Version Control. Issue tracking and Build Processes.
Possesses strong creative problem solving skills


Education and Typical Years of Experience

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ Years of experience as a QA Manager
7+ Years of experience as a test engineer of enterprise applications
