Quality Assurance Manager

SUMMARY

Responsible for the Quality Assurance of 1608 units within Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa. Manage a staff of detail oriented people. Maintains an accurate villa history. Track work orders and guests comments for employee incentives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules and expedites workflow

Issues written and oral instructions. Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness and conformance with policies and procedures

Prepares composite reports from individual report of subordinates
Maintains accurate history of all FF& E in villa.

Adjusts errors and complaints

Performs and assists subordinates in performing duties

Inspect rooms for renovation

Writes requisition for room supplies and furniture's renovation or replacement

Reports need for room redecoration to manager

Writes employee evaluation , budget, weekly expense report.

Records inspections results and notifies the proper department

Interview job applicants

Ensure reports are run to each department to review process with guest relations.

Monitor maintenance block rooms to ensure they are ready to be rented.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in the Inspectors, Data Entry, Furniture Repair, and Upholstery. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Also directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
