Quality Assurance Analyst

Purpose: Quality Assurance Analyst Job Description:
Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join their expanding team permanently. The right candidate will have three or more years experience with QTP and five years experience in Quality Assurance.

To be considered the right candidate will have a good understanding of the
basic functionality of QTP:
1) Create Objects,
2) Modify Objects,
3) Create Check Points.

Deeper Functionality of QTP (back end functionality):
1) run time & environment
2) object identification: data driver, creating virtual objects
3) modify the object to make the script in working conditions
4) active screen
5) data tables: how to use a data table, take values in one field and loop them into different fields, script working off a table,
6) split action functionality: split a script into 2 different pieces: how, when & why to do this.
7) Configuration Management. The Configuration Management team manages code, they move the code from development to testing to production. The right candidate must know How the code is moved? Who moves the code? How to be sure correct code has been moved? The right candidate will understand this process (even if they know it by another name rather than Configuration management).

An understanding of the SDLC process is key to this.

The right candidate will be able to speak intelligently, from experience, about these line items.
