QUALITY SYSTEMS COORDINATOR

In this role, you will perform a variety of duties necessary to support the operational effectiveness of the Gift of Hope quality system. In collaboration with the Manager of Quality Systems monitors, promotes and implements quality as it relates to organizational goals and objectives, services and work processes. Assists in the organization’s knowledge of local, state, and federal organ/tissue procurement regulations and compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and legislative standards.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree in an appropriate area is required. Knowledge of ISO 9001:2000 is desired. Understanding of organ and tissue donation and transplantation is desired. Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement/Process Improvement and auditing is desired. Medical terminology required. Must have strong interpersonal, analytical and written skills as well as the ability to focus on details and manage projects, maintaining confidentiality, effectively interacting with all levels within the organization, being a pro-active problem-solver, and able to make suggestions and recommendations. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access is required.
