QUALITY CONTROL MICROBIOLOGIST

Growing personal care and cosmetic contract manufacturer seeking a qualified candidate in QC/QA Department. Duties include inspection of raw materials, bulk & finished product, perform micro test, organizing, coordinating and supporting all activities related to Quality Assurance and Regulatory. Process, check, manage, and distribute controlled documents and for all product lines and designated departments (SOPs, specifications, master prints, investigation records). Required: AA or BS in Microbiology or related field preferred. Previous experience in QC or QA with knowledge of Quality practices, data monitoring and effective/efficient office practices. Previous experience in GLP, or GMP regulated environment is also desired. Prefer at least 2 years experience in personal care, biotech or pharmaceutical industries. Good verbal and written communication skills, detailed oriented with excellent follow-through abilities.
