Our growth has created terrific opportunities in our Quality Department. The position is available in our state of the art fulfillment center in Melrose Park. The QA Team Lead will both oversee and conduct performance tests and inspections on our variety of giftware products entering the QA Department. Second shift hours of 1:30pm – 10:00pm and during peak season 3:30pm - midnight.

Responsibilities of this position include:Distribute work samples to QA inspectors and oversee their inspections.Test, inspect, and compare (for example: weights, measures, colors, durability) our variety of products in accordance with department standards and specifications.Document results of all inspections, analyses, and discrepancies.Communicate results of all inspections in writing to vendor and appropriate internal personnel within established deadlines. Make recommendations on failed products to rectify the problem.Ensure inspection deadlines are met and conducted according to guidelines established in the department.Create and regularly maintain spreadsheets and manual files for products and project activity.

Requirements:
Selected individuals will have a high school education or equivalent, possess good math skills including use of percentages, fractions and decimals. These team players must have the ability to make acute visual comparisons of products and be able to work with detailed data. Computer literate with Word and Excel skills necessary. Good writing skills needed. Minimum of 1 year experience conducting performance tests and inspections of products in a QA environment. Experience as a group lead or team lead helpful.
