Seeking a detail oriented person to be part of a cross-functional QC laboratories (Microbiology and Biochemistry) team. The successful candidate will primarily act as the coordinator and lead investigator for all investigations (LIR/MIR) generated by this QC team, and monitor investigation timelines to ensure all investigations are completed in a timely manner. This candidate will also perform various Biochemical and Microbiological assays in support of drug substance manufacturing. The candidate will work closely with laboratory management, Quality Assurance, and other functional areas. Additionally, this position will be responsible for completing trending reports for tracking activities and deviations in the lab. Additional responsibilities will be assigned, as needed.
Requirements:
Intimate knowledge of cGMP laboratory operations and practices.
The ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a cGMP environment (laboratory/technical writing experience is required).
Educational Requirements: B.S. or B.A. in a scientific discipline.
Familiarity with electronic systems such as Trackwise and LIMS is a plus.
