Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Seeking a detail oriented person to perform various test methods in a Quality Control laboratory setting. These assay methods include HPLC, ELISA, Spectrophotometer methods, TOC, SDS-PAGE, pH, and Appearance and are performed in support of commercial drug substance manufacturing, and stability programs. The candidate will perform all testing and documentation in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
Review assays performed by other analysts.
Participate in studies for qualification/validation of assays and reagents, by performing assays and documenting results.
Trend and analyze data as required.
Enter data into the LIMS system.
Perform and document various instrument maintenance activities.
Maintain a compliant laboratory in accordance to cGMPs.
Attend cGMP and other training (e.g. Statistics, technical writing) as required. Provide training to new lab personnel in basic lab operation and/or assays.
Write and revise SOP's as needed.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry or related field with 4+ years experience, preferably in a cGMP environment.
Experience in Quality Control and Biotechnology is a plus
Shift:
Second (Tuesday- Saturday, 2:00pm-10:30pm)
