QC Analyst

Purpose: Our client, a large biotech company, is looking for a QC ANALYST for immediate hire.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The successful candidate will be assigned responsibilities for the testing, assistance with assay qualification/validation, assay services, performing routine preventive maintenance, and completing lab administrative duties. As well as performing tests such as: SDS Page, pH, Appearance, Spectrophotometer UV, ELISA, Osmolarity, Conductivity, and USP wet chemical assays. Lab Support functions, including buffer prep and assay prep. Maintain detailed records of assay performance; analyze and interpret test results. Record results in trending software. Recognize results that deviate from established standards, and assist with recommending appropriate actions. Perform testing necessary to investigate out-of-specification test results. Assist in the qualification/validation of test methods and equipment.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
To be qualified for this position one must have a degree in Biochemistry or related discipline with 0-1 years of experience in the Biotechnology industry with emphasis in quality control testing. Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and USP regulations is preferred.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8-5
Pay: 35k-40K
