QA Technician

The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of activities associated with product inspection within the Quality Assurance group to assure compliance with applicable company requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
' Visually and physically inspect incoming raw materials and components. Perform in-process, final kit, and finished good inspections and review documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to product release, reject, and/or closure. Perform inventory transactions on inventory database system. Perform nonconforming material processing: initiation, investigation, follow-up, rework instructions/initiation, disposition and closure.
' Performs manufacturing batch record and QC data audits for compliance to processes, procedures.' Provides administrative support in the area of quality.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
' Good verbal and written communication skills.
' Good interpersonal/interaction skills.
' Strong analytical skills with the ability to follow verbal/written instructions and be able to thoroughly document all activities performed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
' Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 0 to 2 years experience in quality control systems. Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment an advantage. (preferable biotech or high tech)
' This position is required to wear laboratory coat, safety glasses and other PPE as required. Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
