Point of Care Testing Coordinator (POCT)

We will raise the bar on quality and service and will set a new standard for the hospital care delivery.Job Type: Full-TimeJob Description:The Point of Care Testing Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of point of care testing in a highly advanced, fully autmated laboratory of the future. The POCT coordinator will have oversight of the Abbott intranet based QC manager, PCx and 1stat anylyzers througout the hospital including the eergency room, surgical units, ICU and nursing floors. Outpatient oncology clinic testing as well as additional point of care testing systems will be monitored by this position. Future plans to open cardiology units and cat labs will require asdd on testing to our current test mix, including ACT and coagulation testing.
The successful candidate will possess a current California CLS license, MT (ASCP or equivalent) certification, a Bachelor's degree in a chemical or biological science preferred and 3 years applicable laboratory experience.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer M/F/D/V.
