Peoplesoft Senior Programmer - AP module

My client the largest and most respected security company in N. America is seeking a highly technical Senior Programmer Analyst with solid PeopleSoft experience. This individual is responsible for design, development, testing and maintenance of corporate and/or computer systems. Develops new applications and improves existing ones.

Daily duties include (but not limited):

· · Must be very familiar with AP module (PeopleSoft financials)
· Performs as a sr. member of the programming staff and provides consultation and support to other programmers and management.

· · Consults with clients to analyze and understand functions to be automated based on client’s needs, objectives and desired results.

· · Analyzes, defines, and documents system requirements, workflows, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces, internal and external checks and controls and outputs.

· · Converts designs and specifications into computer codes.
· Involved in programming of complex system enhancements and related problem solving activities.
· Test and provides appropriate documentations
· Provides training on new/modified programs
· Savvy in producing bug-free codes.
· Writes and maintains historical documentation on the progress of programs/codes.
· Analyses, installs and tests upgrades of externally developed application programs.
· Monitors performance of programs after implementation.
· Provides user/management support as required
· Ability to analyze complex data and developer recommendations and solutions.

Must have:

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt">5+ years of IT experience </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt"> 3+ years of PeopleSoft experience – Specifically AP module </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt"> Ability to read, analyze and interpret various internal and external documents and reports </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt"> 3+ years of experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt"> Ability to deal with Sr. management and provide feedback </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt"> Demonstrated proficiency in various PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt"> 2+ years experience with MS Project </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt"> Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across divers cultures </DIV>

<DIV style="MARGIN: 0pt"> Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves </DIV>

Must have:

B.S. in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of IT experience
3+ years of PeopleSoft experience – Specifically AP module
