Job duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide leadership to the development, integration and communication of
evidence-based medicine (EBM)
Lead the education of providers, members and other constituents of EBM
methods
Develop capabilities to assess individual provider practices, hospital,
hospital systems and other ancillary facilities from a clinical quality
perspective and identify improvement opportunities and action plans
Lead to the overall HEDIS (Health Employer Data Information Set)
measurement
Lead the design and management of clinical quality improvement
initiatives to include patient safety and other developing trends

Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
8 or more years of related experience, to include 5 years clinical
practice and 3 of supervisory experience
Extensive experience with evidenced-based medicine
Experience with use of scientific methodologies including CQI, TQM or
Six Sigma.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and be persuasive
Willingness to obtain Six Sigma Greenbelt certificationBusiness Specific Criteria (Preferred):
Bachelors or advanced degree in related field (i.e. nursing, health
care administration)
3-5 years administrative and supervisory experience in health industry
(health insurance, managed care or equivalent)
Knowledge of coverage guidelines
Medical Licensure - Registered Nurse, ARNP or PA
