Lead QA Analyst

By combining your talent and our strengths, we can acheive great results.This role is within the FIRC Commodities Trading Technology QA team reporting to the QA Manager of Commodities Trading Technology in Stamford, CT. As a Lead QA Analyst, the candidate will review functional specifications, extract testing requirements, document and execute manual test cases, review and update regression test cases for the ComETS project as well as other related projects. As a Lead QA Analyst, the candidate will adhere to, and offer suggested improvements to, the Energy IT QA methodology, which defines the end-to-end process flow for all QA processes, deliverables and workflow.Preferred Qualifications:A proven track record in delivering results under time pressure is a must along with the ability and willingness to multitask and do whatever necessary to help make their project a success. Good communication skills. Ability to interact with stakeholders including project managers, business analysts, developers, and traders Self-starter. The Lead QA Analyst will be the primary hands-on QA resource on the ComETS project and must quickly seek a comprehension of all of the functional, non-functional, and performance requirements relating to this project.QA METHODOLOGY / PROCESS A good understanding of the systems development lifecycle is a requirement as is General knowledge of financial / trading systems, business rules and terminology. Extensive QA methodology, tools and techniques background. (5-7 yrs) Experiences developing and executing test cases for large / complex business applications (3 - 5 yrs) Familiar with TestDirector (2-3 yrs). Technically adept in Windows, Unix, and Oracle DBMS.
