Lab Technicians - willing to train with some experience!

We have an immediate need for a QC Technician with a leading chemical/polymer company in the Los Angeles area! This is a rotating shift (first, second, and third shift rotation). Willing to train - only requiring some wet chemistry experience!

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform quality assurance tests on selected incoming raw materials and all finished products to ensure all shipments meet requirements/specifications.

Perform quality control tests on in process samples.

Maintain documentation of test results and use SPC charts as directed.

Participate in Repeatability and Reproducibility studies to determine test method variation and required corrective action.

Participate in Customer and Process Quality Improvements Teams. Assist in corrective action implementation and problem resolution.

Perform appropriate laboratory test equipments calibrations as directed to minimize test variation. Maintain record of calibrations.

Dispose of retains as directed.


Experience:

High school education with 2 years minimum experience in a chemical laboratory helpful OR an Associates degree in Chemistry.

Experience with wet chemistry, lab-scale reactions and a working knowledge of SQC/SPC.

Good communication skills.

Good math skills.
